Prior to PivotPoint Solutions, Dr. McDougall served four years as a faculty member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Texas A&M University leading the department’s capstone course in Multi-disciplinary Engineering Design. Earlier, he had spent a combined three years working for the distinguished research laboratories of Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), Southwest Research Laboratory (SwRI) and the Academy for Advanced Telecommunications and Learning Techniques (AATLT).

Dr. McDougall obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Jeff has acquired significant insight into the challenges facing technology companies through his extensive experiences consulting with various companies including: Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Cisco, KPMG, Motorola and Marconi.
